Low powered variable optic (LPVO) carbine

This is a 2 day course with the purpose of exploiting the LPVO to its maximum capability. The course is built around a 12.5-16” General Purpose Carbine equipped with a LPVO such as 1-4x, 1-6x, 1-8x, 1-10x or RDS + Magnifier, without a bipod, firing standard off the shelf ammunition. Students learn to deliver the maximum accuracy of their system at speed. It is designed to bridge the gap between the precision rifle and the practical carbine. Shooters will be challenged by executing various courses of fire testing their ability to employ the LPVO from close quarters engagement distances out to 500 yards. The LPVO is a tool that enhances not just the capabilities of the operator but also the precision accuracy through the understanding of the fundamentals, ballistics, & reticle.
